My name is Miri, I’m 27 years old, and I live in a small town named Ramat Hasharon in Israel with my husband, Avi.

I’m a software engineer during the days, and dream of becoming a professional baker most of the time. My history with the love of food began in my early years, while spending lots of time in my grandma’s kitchen, smelling every pot or pan that was ever there, and helping with small chores that I could do. In a Romanian family food has a very important spot from 2 points of view – the first is eating it – it was crucial that I would finish eveything on my plate, and the second is making it. My grandma spent a large part of her time in the kitchen, and so did all the family. It was the main room of the house, and the place where everything happened.

My history with cooking and baking began almost an year ago, while being in a long illness vacation (as I wrote in my first post on the blog). It was then that I also discovered the great world of food blogs, through Chanit’s lovely blog My mom’s recipes and more. It took me some time to come to the conclusion that I want to start my own food blog, though.

The name of the blog was born almost instinctively, me being a foodie that always, no matter how much food she had eaten in previous courses, will always, always have a little room for dessert.
